Power Window Motor
I don't have the gm part numbers but I got both left and right motors with most of the wiring for 65 a peice from thirdgenparts.com... The two sides are different and they are a BITCH to get in..I have been working on getting 1 in for over a week...thank goodness I have 2 camaros huh?...
I'm not quite sure why everyone has so much problems installing the window motors. I did mine in about a 30-40 mins start to finish.
Took off the door panels and marked the inside door skin where the rivets are that hold the motor to the track. (just use one hand to find the rivets since you can't see them and then mark the approximate location with a marker)
Clamp or wedge the window in the up position so that it does not come down on you when you remove the motor.
Drill a hole at each of your 3 marks in the door skin so you can see the rivets (enlarge if you missed with your mark by a little bit). Use a smaller drill bit to drill the rivets out and boom, your original motor is out.
Installation is just about as easy using the bolts that are supplied with the motor when you buy it. Apply threadlock to each bolt, slide them through the motor and rail assembly and take your wrench with a little bit of grease to hold the nut on while you manuver into position and thread the nut onto the bolts. Tighten down and your done.
If you want to actually rivet them back in place it's somewhat more difficult as you have to take out the whole assembly and that can lead to headaches. I've been using both of my doors with the supplied bolts/nuts and threadlock and have yet to have any problems with it loosening up.
