How do you keep dents from popping back in?

I have a big dent on my right front fender...I can pop it out enough to where I can bondo it,but it likes to pop back in with only a little force. Is this normal and I can just bondo it anyhow? Will the bondo keep the dent from popping back in? What can I do?

With the dent out, you need to hammer and dolly the bend point (the perimeter of the dent). This takes skill. If you don't know how to do it, find somebody that does. It's not hard to make things a whole lot worse if you're not sure what you're doing.
