I was wondering if all GM seat brackets were the same distance from mounting point to mounting point. If not do you think Z26 seats would fit the mounting points of my Firebird.

I don't think all the seats have the exact same bolt positions. But as long as the rails are the same width apart I don't see why you couldn't just drill new holes to make 'em fit. I know a guy on this board did that with vette seats.

Even if the rails are the same width, they might not work. To make it work, you kneed to take the brakets off the seats and swap them, be sure to use the same bolts in the same seats. I had to do this to put '87 T/A seats in my '94 Grand AM. Juts be sure thele work, The seats sat too far back for the Grand Am, when it was up all the way, Cool in the T/A's but not when you cant see anything.
