hatch pulldown gear

hatch pulldown gear

The threaded plastic gear on my 92 RS is stripped. Does anyone know of a place (other than a junk yard) where I can find the gear by itself? The whole motor is very costly. I sure wish GM would have made this part out of metal!

Transmission: SMOOOOOOTH T-56/Auto. . .
Axle/Gears: 3.42 and 2.73
GM has it for about 6-8 bucks...
