Factory GTA wheels, is it true BBS made them?

I was talking to a friend the other night and he told me the factory 16inch GTA wheels were actually made by BBS. This is the first time I have ever heard this. Any truth to it?

They were made by more than one brand. I don't believe BBS ever produced them, but I do believe the Enki (sp??) did. Enki also produces some of the new Grand Prix wheels.

Take a look at the logo mark that is cast into the rim between two of the wheel mounting holes. It sort of resembles a pi and lower case "c" all together. This logo is on all the aluminum rims I have (stock 90 RS rims, 1LE spare tire rim, Iroc rims & GTA mesh rims). I saw a set of wheels with this same logo at Sears recently when getting tires for my wifes car. I think they were Enkei's. But I don't know if they were ever sold aftermarket under their name.
