I have reglued that damn button 4 or 5 times in the past year or so!!!!! I carefully prep both the glass and the button and anywhere from a couple weeks to several months later, without warning, Bam! It drops on my console! I've tried the kit from the local parts store and the dealer with same results. I know my windshield gets hot down here, but enough already! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (epoxy, nut and bolt?)
Thanks,
Ken

You don't want to bolt or screw it in. You need a special drill bit to drill through the laminated glass. Did you think about trying duct tape? j/k I don't know how well this would work but try some JB Weld?
Actually, I was joking about the nut and bolt thing, I have seriously considered JB weld though. Anybody know if that would work?
Thanks,
Ken

I used a 2 part epoxy that comes in an orange squeeze tube. It holds GREAT. Mine's been on almost a year now and I crank on it every day.

Go to the junkyard & get a mirror out of a (people sensitive to someone mentioning using foriegn car parts,, cover your eyes
) older RX7 or CRX,,, they attach to the roof itself (and don't shake nearly as bad with a loud stereo too)
Mounting it is rather simple (as you'll see buy taking it out,, if you decide something like this for a cure)),, just don't use real long screws
