91-92 power blisters... quick ?

This may be a stupid question, but do you need a Z/IROC hood to install the blisters correctly? Do they sit the same way that the black Louvers do?

Just curious before I spend the money to buy a complete hood with everything....

Thanks!

as far as I know you'd need the 91/92 Z28 hood... I'm not sure if the holes match the 85-90 louvered hood... hopefully someone else knows

I know. The 1985 - 1992 Z28 hoods are identical. I bolted on blisters onto my 1987 Z28 hood.

The blisters are made to fit into the indentations in the hood, so they will not "bolt" onto a flat hood.

just please don't try it with a rs hood , any z28 hood should be fine as long as it has the indentations.
