Depending on options its close or they can be far apart lol
Lots of option 4 th gen like leather seats power everything t tops and all that can make a 4th gen 3500+ lbs. A stripper z28 could be 3300 lbs. most 3rd gens fall in the 3250-3350 lb range but also a power everything leather seat 3rd gen could approach 3500 lbs.
My 89 however was 3400 lbs with full leather and power everything.
My 99 trans am full leather power seats windows etc on big 17x11 rims rear and 9.5" fronts was 3510 lbs
