I have heard so many different opinions. One person told me the "power lock" feature on thirdgens weigh under a pound each. Another said you can save 35lbs a door by ditching the power locks and converting to manual. What is the weight?

 

The power door locks weigh about a pound each add say another 1/2 lb. for the switch and wires. The weight could be offset by removing 3/4 lb from each tire, hehe
Really doesn't seem to rate the hassle.

It weighs 3.1 lbs. I'm sure of that. I have a manual that says it right here in front of my face.
