Anybody know where I can get this mesh, it goes over the power lock rods under the door panel.
I think it keeps the rods from rattling together,
thanks in advance for any input.

I did a quick search on plastic expanded mesh and this was the first site to pop up. The early cars used the mesh, later they switched to molded plastic clips that hold the rod in place behind the door panel and allow the rod to slide through the clip. The clip pops into a hold in the door panel.
In one of my prior jobs we used it to protect machined parts from damage.
Thanks Lonsal, that's exactly what I'm looking for,"BUT" I only need about 2' I've been searching and found that it's called "Protective Tubular Plastic Mesh".I ordered something similar and it's being delivered today.I'll see if it's going to do the job. This is what I ordered http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/The_R...html#multiview
It's the closest I could get from ordering 1000 feet of material.
Thanks for your input,I appreciate it.
Here is your solution. Call the people that sell it by the thousand foot length and ask them for a 2' sample to evaluate it for a product you are considering.
