Wrap Around Spoiler
I have 2 wrap around spoilers, one is rotted completely out, but the other one is fine except for the top where it has cuts in the rubber and the right side leg is bent in just a little bit. Is it possible to bondo or fill in the cuts/cracks in my aero spoiler to make it look good? Or would it be a waste of time? You can kinda see what I'm talkin about in the picture. I'd love to fix this one because I don't have the money for a new one. How hard would it be to fix this? Thanks

Re: Wrap Around Spoiler
go talk to a paint and body supply, it will probably req the same stuff to fix our bumper covers.
i will say, with all of the labor it takes to fix your "better" wing you may have almost the same time, labor, and money you could spend a tad more and get the HAWKS piece.
i put it off as long as i could and finally when the dr side came loose from the deck i thtrew in the towel. glad i did, its a nice piece and will never come apart like the factory piece.

I really would love the HAWKS piece but thats 400. Imma have about 60-80 in this by the time I'm done. I only plan to have the car till next summer so just something to last till then. I'm gonna use some fiberglass mat (6$) for the top and sides, fiberglass resin jelly (15$) to put over and under the mat, and then smooth it out with bondo (10$). Then cover it with SEM flexible primer (33$) and then another 10$ in sandpaper. I've got the paint and clear

You are better off removing the spoiler entirely and then patching the deck lid if you don't want to buy a fiberglass replacement at the moment.
You can't cheaply fix these spoilers, if it was cheap/economical to do, then there would be more threads on these boards about how to do it. You can fill in the cracks, but it won't stop them from continuing to split. It'll just split in a few months ruining any patch work you do.
Live with the uglyness, and save for a fiberglass replacement. Or remove it, and seal the holes left by the wing mounts while you save for a replacement wing.

Well I have the wing mounts filled, the car is painted now, I was just wanting to fix the spoiler. Its not necessarly cracking, just the paint is peeling. The spoiler isn't rotted, its still solid

I fixed all the bumpers and ground effects the way I want to fix the wing, but I don't remember how bad the wing was. I am going to pick it up today. I do remember that it was still solid and it has been stored inside. I have most of the stuff already to start fixing it because its the stuff left over from when I did the bumpers and ground effects
