I have seen metal inserts in the nose where the dual filter box sits. I yanked my fileter box for a conical K&N setp, but where could Ifind one ofthose inserts... The dealer looks at me like I am nuts at the parts counter, but I see them on a few cars...

 

Seen em too man but have'nt found them either. Good luck, let me know if you find anything.

Are you talking about the airbox that drops behind the foglights and grille? A guy in GaFBA has one (Lester Hawkins) but the company that made his is out of business.
