I'm a huge K.I.T.T. fan! Which season dash do you have?

 

It's a 2nd Season style two tv dash. I'm still a KITT fan, but not as huge as I used to be. I've sort of slowly lost interest in it over the last few years. It's a tough car to build with the limited suppliers and LONG wait times. You kind of get tired of waiting. Thankfully, I approached my car with that attitude that whatever I install will not hurt my Trans Am should I decide to make it black and gold stock again. Everything can be undone by simply unbolting and unscrewing from factory locations. I'm still debating it, but I can't get enough of the reactions of people in my town when I do get it out on the road and the local cruise-ins. It appeals to so many in a positive way, so I guess that's a good thing.

American Racing AR-23 with a custom touch.

 

PO gave it the "Krylon Touch". The brown interior was also black, took alot of work to make it brown again.

Hey, mine too - I just didn't own it all those years.

This is mine, 87 formula 350 with 521cuin BBF and 2004R trans, ford 8.8. Its getting full coil over suspension, moly K-member and full GFX from a 88TA and 92 camaro.

How it used to be before it got stolen and gutted.


Now… before the GFX and coil overs etc and going with a dark charcoal metallic color theme.

Yes lol it gets a lot of looks. It looks and sounds really pissed off, true dual 3" with 3"pipe, custom 2" primary headers dumping before the rear axle is quite nasty sounding lol. The 521 is so loud your house and ***** will vibrate if your remotely close to it lol. I can't wait for the GFX

 

What size tires are those on the front?

 

275/35R17 on a 17x9 ford bolt pattern anthracite FR500 rim. Rears are 315/35R17 on a 17x10.5 ford bolt pattern anthracite FR500 rim. Fronts were 1.5" adapters spacers in the pic, now I got 1" adapters to replace them to tuck them in alittle more. So they will tuck in 1/2" more than in the pic and should line up with the rear perfectly.

Thank you! The springs are Eibach Sportlines with adjustable KONI shocks and struts.

 

 

There's a black 85 305 TPI/auto with T-tops back there someplace. I just put it there a few weeks ago & I'm pretty sure I left my trailer out in front of it!
