Where: high school paint booth and painted by me.
How much: I'm guessing around 400 dollars for all materials.
Picture: it's almost a year old, taken while wet sanding the clearcoat.

I've decided to paint it black after I get a new cowl hood within the next couple of months.

Here's a new pic taken a few days ago..

It's easy if you know what you're doing Take an ROP class (Regional Occupation Program) or collage night class for auto body repair/paint.

$3600 for getting the back left repaired after a girl backed into it. Also got the whole car repainted.. should have been more expensive but I knew the guy as friends and he did it for cheap for me.. also has lifetime fade/ peel/ chip garuntee.. so if anything happens to my baby.. I get it redone for free.. yay! I forget the name of his shop though... his last name collision.. I can't remember his last name right now

My neighbor did it. Cost me about $2300. Inlcuded paint and materials, fitting and cleaning up the hood, switching rear spoilers, and fixing some rust spots with new metal welded in.

Every time I see your T/A Karp, damn, sweet car. Best one I've ever seen (along traditional lines, Scauffiel is awesome, but way out in left field somewhere).

Jesus Christ, Mo, I can see your reflection with the camera in your hand! My dad and I painted my car in the driveway with black lacquer for abotu $100 worth of paint. It turned out real nice, but lacqer sucks!! gotta wax it like every 2 months and polish the hood alot cus the sun dulls it. I want base coat-clear coat!

Thanks. The pictures I have really do not do the paint job, or the work of the painter, the justice it truley deserves. Some days you can barely tell what color the car is because it is so reflective. Gotta give some thanks to Zaino for that as well. We just got a new digital camera at work so hopefully I can take some better pics as soon as I pull it out of storage.

The hood is from American Sports Car Designs. I think I paid $425 for it.
