How to repair hood louvers with cracks or holes
Ok heres my hood louver that got a hole in it and this is how to repair it.

First I used http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_x_7160098-P_x_x?cm_mmc=ACQ-_-Google-_-enhancedRM-_-7160098&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=7160098&ci_gpa=pla&ci_kw={keyword}&gclid=CMr2tISf6bMCFQWonQodwDoArA#utm_source=acq&utm_medium=google&utm_campaign=enhancedrm&utm_content=7160098
mix the permatex then spread it on the crack or hole
( try not to leave to much excess because it will be more work later to sand that off.

wait around 20-30 mins until its dry and hardened and then sand.

sand until flat
and then paint
This is what i used

Not perfect but much better.

Oh and i forgot to add when sanding start by using a low grit sandpaper to get the excess epoxy off and then use a high grit to smooth.

i thought of something. as long as at least half the peg is still connected. you can get a small screw with a spacer and a washer to hold it in place. it should work just fine, and you won't have to worry about it breaking.

You can make the pegs out of the permatex too. Use tape or wax paper to make little molds. I've done this with the firebird dash speaker covers.
