Plastic interior parts locating problem

Can anybody give me some info on where I can get new or used (but in good shape) plastic interior parts. How hard is it to dye them? What dye is best to use?

Thanks for your help!

I would look on ebay if I were you. I just bought most of the interior plastic pieces for my car (in black) for $160. They are out of a '91 TA with t-tops and are in mint condition. The only pieces I didnt get were the pieces that go under the dash. I got every piece that I was planning on dying black. Now I just need to install them. I cant wait. It is pretty hard to find the black interior pieces...but just look around. You might get lucky. Your best bet is definitely ebay. Somebody told me on here that it would cost close to $800 for the pieces I bought.

I'm doing mine with Duplicolor's Gloss black vynl/fabric paint. You have to clean each piece thoroughly, scrub it with scotch-brite, then wipe it with a plastic prep and go over the whole thing with a tack cloth. Then spray it with an adhesion promoter like bulldog and you can start putting on coats of paint. Just make sure you do them thin and let them dry slightly between coats

Does it matter what color I am going to (blue) from red? Or would that turn out purple without alot of coats? Thanks for the help!
