I am about to take delivery of my 1st camaro its a 82 t top Z/28 stock as a rock,,are there any common rust areas i should check out,,and maybe attend to, before i do anything else, tune up ,,G/box service, etc,, this car is right hand drive,,the conversion looks great,,,real tidy,,anything that was cut in the conversion ,,,parts of the firewall etc,,,will be thoroughly checked out, espessially where the windshield wipers were moved, to the right, is there any drip holes in the body,, that should be freed up ,,,under the fenders around the sills,,i aint looked at this car in the open yet as its been siting in a shed 2 years,,,,covered in soft cloth,,only 62,000 mls on it,,,i just hope moisture aint got the seams around the panels,,i will leave it in the sun 3 days this weeks to dry up any moisture, then fish oil the whole car, in the panels,,,, any replys please feel free,, steve in AUSTRALIA

Besides the obvious rear wheel wells and bottom of the doors, pull the spare tire out and check in that well.
And check up under the rear bumper cover.

Pull the rear seats and check for rust under the carpet, also check the top of the rear shocks, check rear part of the front wheel wells, there is a seam that can rust, check behind the front kick panels, lift the carpet at the rock panels and check the medal at the rocke panel as it rust at both ends, the middle my be good but check the ends. Also check in behind the rear bumber.

also don't forget the left and right battery trays n whatnot... not many people give much thought to those but they go quicker than anything else most times
