Well, it all depends on certain things. If you want to lose weight, and not have to worry about dents and rust, go 'glass. If you dont care about all that, go steel. To me, i'd go steel unless your a fairly serious racer. There are 3rd gens all over the yards and finding a good set of steel ones is a PILE cheaper the 'glass.

Stay steel. There really isn't that much of a weight savings to justify the price. You have to lose 100 lbs to go just one tenth of a second faster. Fiberglass may save you 10lbs for the pair and only one company I know makes 'em, and have been told the fit isn't great. They are $250 a piece fiberglass. $75 for used steel ones.
