Good afternoon. Here's the skinny: I have a car w/ a damaged driver's side and roof, and a nice car w/ mint driver's side and t-topped roof. I want to have car A repaired with car B's parts--including having the roof swapped over. Now, I know this will result in a weakened frame and the like, but I also want to install a 4 or 6pt cage. Should installation of the cage and SFCs strengthen the frame suitably? Also, any bdy guys know what this might run me???

 

I think it'd be cheaper to turn the parts car into the good one unless it's FUBARed. I'm not a pro or anything, but I'd guess you'd be looking at a couple thousand to get it done right. Just a guess though.
