Ok this may sound pretty dumb but i have no idea how to get the hood shocks off connecting to the hood itself. I can get the connecter to the fender/hinge off but not the hood. Hey i'm only 17, never had to do most of this stuff.

 

spread the bottom part of the clip until it comes off the post. this can be done with plyers or a flathead screwdriver.
