Does anyone know if the struts that hold up the trunk on the convertibles is the same as the struts on the hatchbacks?
No one at parts stores list convertibles and they don't know if they are the same

no they aren't the same , the convert. are shorter than the hatchback. The hatch back run about 29.00 ea . A commpany by the name of DORMAN makes the actuators for the stores out here.. good luck

ok goto farm and fleet, its a national store, i think, well they have em, the ones for a convert are 20$ each and the ones for a hatchback are 35$ each
