My car got in a minor hit and run type thing when I was at work. The fender got scratched all to hell right in the front as well as the door and part of my hood. Since insurance will be paying for the paintjob and all, I was thinking that before I take it in I should chop the antenna off. Does anybody think that this would be hard? I've never done any type of bodywork but I figured a quarter size hole shouldn't be too hard to fill up, what do ya think?

 

no its not hard at all...you have to get some bondo and a fiberglass fabric piece on the back side. it looks better without alot smoother. you have to get a stick on antenna though. I have the one with the wire embedded in tape and it works better than the the stock one.
