finally found my squeak its in my hood hinges how can i stop it!! very annoying

the other day i was adjusting my hood cause for some reason it shifted and i couldnt get my hood open.. its an ascd ram air hood. so i reefed on it a little and noticed that the hinges where making the squeaking noise i have been looking for.. anyone ever have this problem how can i make it go away!!! also it doesnt do it when its above 60 degrees out why is this?? any ideas are greatly appreciated

this run is before the new exhaust system new sticky tires coolant by pass smog removal new runners new thermostat and new three core radiator since i would get to the line and be well over 220* aluminum drive shaft and vette servo
also 1997 grand prix gtp black with custom cold air indcution... its the my girl friends and i havent got to run it at the track yet but i will!!! yes i will... well as soon as she lets me lol.. but it seems pretty quick for a 6 and front wheel drive

with a sig like mine? lol whats wrong with my sig? well i did already try the lubrication. i guess the next thing is to buy new ones if i can or not.. can a gm shop usually get them? i know some of the parts for are cars are not being sold anymore for somereason. thanks for the answers though

Well, aside from the fact that both times you posted it's three times the length of your post - nothing's wrong with it. I guess.

Did you try some white lithium grease? That usually works pretty well and seems to stick around for quite a while. Clean 'em up real good with carb cleaner, make sure they're dried off nicely, then get some lithium on them, see if that helps out.

Sometimes the little rubber 'snubbers' on the fenders that help hold the hood in line squeak. If greasing the pivots on the hinges & armour all'ing the snubbers don't help,,, maybe it's not your hood

*FYI - the reference to your sig is the fact is it's unreal long (IMO)
