T-tops to a convertable, is it possible?

I was just thinking, about later in life, when my camaro will move from a daily driver in the driveway to a project car.I want a convertable, but I don't want to give up my car(to many memories). I was wondering if it was possible to make it a convertable, by cutting off the pillars, getting a convert hatch and, custom making top. I know it will be way harder that 1 2 3. But how hard?, or has anyone done? How much would it cost?

it could be done, just a lot of coin; a friend of mine has a 85 that was made into a convertable; but it's permanent........it has the trunk welded shut with another hood, pretty trick! but i wouldn't do it, just go spend the same amount and buy another car! you'll be glad you did in the end
