I want to put some Autometer guages into the stock gauge panel.Anyone done this?Looking for Full tach and speedometer.And smaller volt,fuel,and oil pressure gauges.WHat size will fit if any.And how will the tranny line for the speedometer hook up?Thanks

 

I'm going throught the same ordeal....
I bought 5" tach and speedo and 2 1/16 oil pressure, water temp, gas level....the three little ones fit and look nice being held behind the plastic(one at a time)...but the trim rings will hit each other....and you still need to mount them....
The speedo and tach will fit inside or outside(with a little modding)
I decided to make an aluminum plate myself...
You can buy either a mechanical or electric speedo...

Okay got some questions though.I dont run the stock computer,I run a Tec II.How does the tranny cable hook to the speedometer?I know I can just wire the gauges to the engine,I planned on electrical units.My only concern is the cable from the tranny,isnt there some kind of sensor.I am confused since I havent taken the panel off yet,but I know the mess of wires behind it im gonna see.Any help is appreciated.And any way you could aquire me some abs plactic if needed.Thanks
