Any Place to get new emblems.
Any Place to get new emblems.
I am in need of an IROC-Z rear bumper emblem in Gold. I have been checking all my contacts and it is a discontinued item and have not found any used ones.
Anyone found any place that has them new or used.
Thanks,
Bruce

check the www.thirdgenparts.com or www.thirdgenresource.com for used ones, www.nextgenparts.com should have them...
the catalog says call for price, so they're probably pretty rare. I'll keep an eye out for when I go to the yards and see if I can find anything. Also, eBay is a good place to try.
Oh, thirdgenparts used to make custom metal ones that look like stock ones in any color you want. aske them about those

Have tried all of the above, same response, no one has any used there and they are not available new yet. Thats why I posted here maybe someone can come up with one. If not I will have one airbrushed in place.
Thanks

Try your local bone yard. Just keep an eye out for this particular emblem because it is next to impossible to order this one from even a dealer. You'll probably have to get one from a fresh wreck.
Go ahead and try Classic Industries, a company based in CA. classicindustries.com (I can't remember if I had seen the gold emblem in the catalog, perhaps. I'd double check with it but I am @ work and took the catalog home a week ago)

Same thing here. I am in need of one. Local chevy dealer did a search, nothing, classic ind, none left, next gen, none left. If anyone finds a couple in gold for the 88-90 style, Sell one to him and one to me. The silver and the red are still availible from GM. I thought of trying to piece two together. Get a gold side iroc emblem, remove the black plastic from the back, and get a gold Z28 emblem from the rear, and remove the bowtie, putting it on right next to the emblem. Let me know what you find out.
