Power window switch on door panel
Power window switch on door panel
Is there a way to put the power window switch onto the door panel. I really hate the location that they are now. I'm even willing to lose the control over the passenger window and let the passenger deal with it. Is it difficult?

It wouldn't be that difficult if you're good at cutting things. I'd have 2 suggestions as to where to put the switch(s). If you don't have power mirrors, then the "blank" plate on the forward end of the door panel would be my first choice. There might even be enough room on the door lock switch panel, as well. Or, you could possibly even mount them on the armrest(s). Like I said, if you're good at modifying things... and of course, having to re-route the wiring...

Only hard part is to figure out where you want them. Just go to a Home Depot or something ang get the same guage wire and you should't have a prob. I had an 80 Camaro about 10 years ago with power windows and I removed the console and wired it like a Firebird. Took about 2 hours (with a couple beers thrown in).
