Z28 GFX Emblems ???

Okay, since I'm not getting any replies in my build thread...

The 88 came without emblems (except on the nose!). I'm looking into getting a set, but I have no idea how to put them on. Seems to me that if I put them on before I remount the GFX, I can't screw the GFX to the fenders. It also seems to me that if I mount the GFX before the emblems, I can't get at the backs of the emblems to put the nuts on. Or is there something I'm missing?

It would have been easier if I still had them, but I don't... And finding decent used tri-silver around here is frustrating .

on my 84 ground effects the emblems just pushed in(no nuts just a pressure fit on the pins), i would assume the newer ones are the same

I was curious because some of the kits I've seen on eBay seem to have nuts with them , and I know the older ones (as in 70s and earlier) DID use nuts.
