Fitting an 82-84 bumper on a 92 RS. Possible??

So I have a 92 RS and I love the car. But I want to go for a different look and go for the more low profile look that the mid-80's third gen's had (no ground effects) ... will the front/rear bumpers fit directly onto my 92?

Ya it will fit, I put a 92 bumper on my 84 SC and it bolted right up.
You're going to have holes in the fender that you'll need to fill in.

Wish you lived in Washington, I still have my SC bumper that I need to find a home for.

So let me get this right? You want to make a 92 (91/92 best looking GFX IMO) look like an older SC? There is a guy on here that did this, His name on here is like 66nova or something like that. You have to get a non GFX nose and bumber support, rear non-GFX bumper support and cover, then pull all the GFX off your car and weld all the holes where the brackets for the GFX mount to. I'm sure I'm missing a few steps, but you get the point just get a non-GFX car and sell the 92 to someone that loves the Areo GFX cars.

He will still need the front bumper cover, front bumper support, rear bumper support and fill all the holes. The rear bumper cover is the least of his worries at this point if he wants to do this conversion.

i'm not 100% sure but i'm fairly certain the bumper supports are the same for every year camaro 82-92? or do i have that wrong, and he doesn't need the rear bumper if he just wants the front bumper and he wont have to fill the holes if he leaves the gfx on, he could just sell his front bumper and gfx and buy the one he wants and swap it
