I did do a search and I think I already know the answer, but wanted to make sure. The under side of the hatch on my 92 Camaro (the metal part that the spoiler and latch striker mounts to has some rust) I was going to sand it down and paint it, but I was at the local Pull A Part this weekend and found a rust free 85 Camaro. The hatch was perfect so I took the metal part. There was a 92 Camaro across form it and the only thing I seen differant was the latch striker so I bought it. One thing, my car has the rear cargo cover and I need to be able to use it as it hides my system. So am I correct in thinking that all I have to do after I paint the new hatch is put my 92 striker on it and the inner trim and all will be good? The hatch I got still has the duck bill spiler on it, but I will just use mine.

 

Im pretty sure what you got once it is all put together will be 100% what you need and will work again
