license plate location

well, more of a personal preference, but where do you have your front plate? My basket of parts known as my Camaro didn't have a bracket.

Re: license plate location

Find out if your state even requires a front plate first. If they do, next you want to find out what the violation for not having one is and weigh it. In Illinois here it is a non-moving violation so its only an inexpensive ticket each time. I have had no front plate for 8 years now and never received a ticket, been pulled over for it but never ticketed. I have asked various city/county/state officers over the years and they all say the same thing about it-You will probably never get ticketed for it but officers will use it as an excuse to pull you over to make sure you aren't drunk or have a warrant out or driving a stolen car. Same as loud exhaust or excessive tint or loud music etc,. Again though, I'm in Illinois and these are my experiences, breaking any law is your decision.

Re: license plate location

same thing happened to me as to Tibo. Pulled over as an excuse. Colorado DOES require front plates. So mine is now holding down the passengers side corner of the carpet i have covering my pristine dash pad!
