White haze on my hood and notchback
White haze on my hood and notchback
Well.. I did a really stupid thing the other night. I was at a car wash bay and mistakenly rinsed my car off with WAX instead of water... now I have a white haze on my hood, roof and notchback lid. How do I get it off??
Note to self...never go the the car wash at 2:30 in the morning.

And more Civic's then I can count. Why do they even bother?

Strip it off quick with a mild wax remover/cleaner and DO NOT let the sun bake on the wax. If you can't find anything else many washes with liquid dish soap will do eventually clean it.
Wash it with liquid dawn dish soap. You might need to was it more than once depending on how heavy that wax crap is on there. You will also want to wash it with hot water (if you can). Don't forget to re wax when you are done since the Dawn will strip off any wax.
