I need a part for my electric rear latch assy. ( the gear wheel that makes the latch go up and down) the dealer does not sell it any more. Is there some place higher up than the dealer to get parts?
I've tried the junkyards, most of the cars there the part is gone already, or it's no good.
Did any other GM cars use the same part that I could ask for?

try ebay, I found a whole assembly on there in great condition.
