Does anybody know if lexan glass for the rear hatch will open or if it is fix shut?

 

I would imagine that if you moulded the lexan to the shape of the glass, the entire peice then you could loose a few pounds and still have it work normally. You will need vacuum bagging equipment, available from www.aircraftspruce.com . Go to the page and check it out. But if you can get the vacuum bagging stuff and the release film, you can also get the lexan from them too then make it swap it in. It will cost more then 200 in equipment alone, unless you can find someone to do it for you.
