5 speed shift pattern redo

Only thing I can think of is that you could a decal maker to cut you some out of that sticky vinyl material they make Iroc-Z door decals out of. That has been a question of mine also, and I think that the right person would be willing to make us some nice repros of the original pattern to stick over the worn pattern. Its the same way with the autos and the "Automatic Overdrive" lettering that commonly wears off quick.

A new console piece, then cover it with clear plastic to protect the paint. At least that is my plan. My console piece is only 7 months old since my swap.
