Fixing tail lights
I was washing my car the other day and i noticed when i sprayed the tail light, i said "hey those look good." they look brand new wet. i came back after drying the car and looked at the lights and said, "Yep they look like crap." my question is. Is there some sort of polish or cleaner that will make my tail lights look new, or newer? I was was think maybe i can try a poishing compound or something. Is there a polish for plastic??

I have used both 3M Finess-it II (now called Perfect-It) and Meguires plastic polish on my lenses, and they both work great. I do mine by hand because I think that it would be real easy to build up too much heat with a buffer and melt the lense. Afterwards I wax them. They originally looked dull, and ever since the first time I polished them have looked almost new.
