From Day one to Now

I always like looking at progress pics and I know I can't be the only one so I thought I'd show my progress so far. She wasn't in the best shape when I bought her (probably why I got such a good deal). Damage to the front drivers corner, ground effect was trash (so I tossed it), grill was faded (took it off)... A good trip to pick a part and a couple orders to Hawk's 3rd gen/ Ebay and a lot of elbow greese and paint later she's in somewhat better shape.

Before:

Now:

Still much more to do but I'm happy for now.

Re: From Day one to Now

BTW, I know the headlights look weird like that. I bought those fake projectors from Ebay cause I liked how they looked. Once installed the light output was SOOOOOOO bad I couldn't live with it and put the stock low beams back in. The old high beams broke when removing so until I buy new stock high beams those will have to stay. I don't use my highs that much anyway.

Looks good what are you going to do next?

Btw love the areocatch hood pins, only recently I have seen people starting to use them.
I've had mine on for a while now

Re: From Day one to Now

Dont worry, those high beams will go very soon.

The parking lights i bought like that. There are clear ones and smoked ones on Ebay... I got the smoked.

Next im focusing on the interior. I want to replace all the grey with black and get some better seats. These stock seats blow.

Where did you get the inserts for the hood blisters? Mine are gone and looking for a style like yours.

Re: From Day one to Now

My hood blisters dont actually have inserts.... They're true functional heat extractors. The inserts youre seeing is a steel "mesh" grill I installed in tne opening. See below...
