Megashifter and stock console?
Megashifter and stock console?
Can these two be fitted somehow to make a semi-stock looking console? I'd love to have a ratchet shifter, but I'm not hacking the hell outta my console for one that looks "okay"

Don't worry about hacking the console unless you plan on taking the shifter out. The console plate B&M gives you covers up any hacking you have to do.

the megashifter doesn't sit in the same place as the stock one does. It also needs a little more clearance to be able to move around. sorry but I don't think you will be able to do it the way you want, at least not easily....

Well you have to cut a big rectangle in the stock plate, which would no longer be usable if you take the shifter out. My suggestion is, go ahead and hack at it, you can always pick up another one from the junk yard.
