tail light removal
how do you remove the center section of the tail light bar (the part with trunk key hole and firebird emblem)? im trying to get the lock cylinder for the trunk out to replace it. does it snap in or is it bolted in? i tried prying but wound up cracking a part in corner. i dont see any screws anywhere. little help?

Re: tail light removal
You have to remove both tail lights as the center section connects all three pieces as one unit. It's a pretty straight forward process. Remove the back panel in the hatch area and you will see all the wingnuts holding the tails in.

Probably a little late, but make sure you pry the cable for the lock off of the back of the cylinder before you remove the rivets.
