everything for the inside.. where do i get it?
well in sept my car goes in for a new everything for the powertrain. and i get it back in oct. and when i get it back im going to be doing the interior. where to i get a new dash, carpet, consol, the plastic peices that are all around the car? unfortunatly when i bought my IROC it was more of a salvaged car, do it has signs of ageing all over the place, and since its getting a new paintjob i want the interoir to look good as well. i know there are places to get the carpet for like $99. i just dont want to go to GM to get the rest of the stuff for the car cause they will charge up the A$$. what other places are available?? would year one/next gen have all this stuff?
alot of the pieces are not made by gm new anymore.the plastic can be lightly sanded and painted and will look good if done right, with the right paint.*****,buttons, etc I got mostly from chuck hutton chevy online.and the carpet is normally $99 for the front piece and the same for the rear, for a decent carpet anyway it will be like $200.Door panels are easily made,or repaired to look like new.

Wow.. i've been browsing these boards for a while now, and its the first time I have seen House Of Camaro. They seem like they may have alot of parts. Has anyone bought anything from them?

I just replaced my entire interior last week and what a difference. Went from tan to Black/charcoal. Lot's and lot's of compliments. Well worth the money if you are keeping your car.
If you are getting your car painted I suggest removing the door panels but put the arm rest/handels back on. This way the door jams and areas around the weather stripping can be painted with no fear of overspray. I would do the carpet after painting although I did mine first. Headliner also. Interior, new seats and carpet headliner should cost aroud $700.00 to a grand depending on condition and quality of work.
I bought my interior from Denny (LFN AT U)off of this board. Can't find his email right now but I am sure it is on the No. Indiana/Chicago burbssection of this board. If you email me I will get his web/email addresses for you. He has lots of different interior colors and most of them are complete interiors. It is so much easier when you have the entire interior to do the change. With Denny he had all the parts so nothing was missing or mitchmatched. The entir change took from 10 a.m to 4:30. This included seats , rear carpet and all plastic including the console and dash.
You can also cruise the junk yards for a complete interior but finding a complete interior is aliitle hard and a lot of luck but it can be done.
email me if you need more info on this!!
