Bought 4th gen console, now how do you get shifter handle off?

I bought a new 2001 6 speed console for a 4th gen, but how do I go about getting the shifter handle off, I can't see any screws holding it, but I don't know where to look.

is yours auto. if so there is a metal clip on the back side of the shifter you pull straight out,use a small flathead screwdriver to get it started.

It is an auto, thanks for the help I'll be doing the swap on Thursday(next time I see my car).
