AC question...

after using my AC for a long time one day, it starts pouring out white smoke. i turned it off, turned it back on, and it hasnt done it since. what causes this? whats wrong? some people tell me its natural but ive NEVER seen that happen in anyone elses car before, until last week it started happening in my girlfriends Acura, what is wrong, or what causes this ?

My camaro does this if you switch from MAX to just reg A/C,,, I've been told it's just moisture from the air (like you see on humid days opening the freezer out in the garage to get an ice cold beer ). Weather it is or not, I dunno, as long as the air is cool I'm happy .
