My doors are solid but the lower part of my doors are rotted right out on the inside. Paintside is ok but it seems like my window seeps were leaking for so long that it rotted the door panels. has anybody taken the time to fix this themselves with sheet metal. Im going to I just wanna know if anybody else has done it and has pics

Re: rotted out doors

Depending on overall condition, salvage doors are probably your best option (complete swap). GM has NOS doors in stock but IIRC they are $1500+. Lower door skins are available aftermarket. Any damage beyond the lower skins will have to be sectioned from salvage parts, or custom fabricated. If you custom fabricate, you will have to cut out affected areas and recreate the exact size and shape and weld them in.

Re: rotted out doors

better off finding a new set of doors because gm rolled the outer sheet metal over the inner shell it makes it really tough to redo them i would try craigslist an go from there even if u have to find doors with no power options u could transfer over all the stuff to the news easily make sure u take the door handle brackets since different f bodies had different interior options
