Rear Hatch motor diagnosis

The pulldown motor stopped working on my 86 TA. I've pulled it apart and wanted to figure out what exactly broke on it. There's juice going to it with a blue wire. The connector into the motor has four wires. Does anyone know which wires I have to bypass to make the motor work? A wiring diagram would be nice too...

Question. Is your hatch open, and you cant get the motor to grab it and pull it back down? If this is the problem, your pull down mechanism just made need to be brought back up so it can catch. if you look down in in the motor from the top, you can kinda see like a button type thing. take your finger and push it down and that should bring it back up, if that's the prob at least. let me know.

If I press the switch, nothing happens. It could be the switch that is broken, however I dont know if that's a common problem with the rear hatch.
