Door handle

I went on my break today and I went to look for something in my 92 firebird and went I tried to open the door one side felt like it was disconnected and a little metal thing fell out of it. I can open my door but i have to do it carefully. Do I need to replace the entire door handle?

Re: Door handle

Yes...............
the door handles get worn and break thru time.
Any big box parts store sell the knockoff replacement handle
assembly in their "HELP" parts section.
A easy DIY fix.
