Overspray
Overspray
OK, got a little situation on my hands. Just had my car repainted by a friend of mine. i did the body work, he painted it. Well in the rush, he forgot to put a a cover over then engine, and now ive got white overspray on my motor!!!!!! Do you know of anything that can take that overspray off of the hoses and such?
I'm not sure, but you should be able to take that off the rubber hoses with tires cleaner. Or anything that makes tires shiny, because it actually eats up some of the rubber. I guess you'll just have to repaint the rest of the engine, or solvent and a scotch-brite pad might work. That really sucks, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The Engine compartment is NASTY to work with, not because of the grease & grime, just because of the detail. its a big Job if you want to do it. i had Yellow on my engine after i painted my car: lesson learned, Paint Car, install Engine carefully.
