formula or Trans Am

Which is better?? I have a formula and was thinking of changing it to a t/a. Is it worth doing it. Or should I leave it formula?

Trans Am is better, they look sweet with their ground effects. They also have more... presence. But to make a formula to trans am conversion it'll cost you $700 to $900.

The T/A will have ground effects and may look nicer to you, but the T/A will also weigh more then the Formula. It depends between looks or performance.

I bought my car brand new off the lot and at the time I had a choice of Formula or GTA and my choice was Formula. I personally do not like all that ground effect stuff, I like the cleaner lines of the Formula and it just seemed to be more performance oriented.Plus at that time around $5000.00 cheaper.Just my opinion.

Car: 87 Formula/ 00 Xtreme
Engine: TPI 305/ v6
Transmission: struggling t-5/ 4l60E
Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
Weights.....

Rocker panel fx.. 4lbs
Door fx.. 3lbs
Front fender fx.. 1.5lbs
Rear ¼ fx.. about 1lb
Front Bumper.. about 2lbs over the formula
Rear bumper.. about 1.5 **

I don't seriously think that (roughly) 22.5lbs would really drag down the performance...

I'm particular to both personally,, if I could find another 5speed formy, I'd get it for a daily driver & chuck the camaro.

And more Civic's then I can count. Why do they even bother?
