how do I remove my door panel??

how do I remove my door panel??

I know how to unscrew the armrest and I know how to pop of the window roller but how do I do the rest?? 86' sport coupe

k, take off the plastic trim piece, there's a hidden screw under one of the blank rectangles. take the rectangle off by pushing down and towards you. as for the panel itself, all you have to do is pull. start at a bottom corner to make it easier. Once you have all the fasteners free, put the window crank on without the clip and roll the window down. Then for the plastic piece on top, push in and lift up, there are 3 clips on it. It should come off with the door panel unless someone ripped the panel.

Do this all very carefully. I made myself a tool to get the push in fasteners off around the whole door panel so that I wouldn't rip them off from the cardboard backing. It's a little fork like tool with two prongs- it'll make your life easier, especially if you have to take the door panels off regularly (like I end up doing about 4 times a year).

I know body types between Cams and Birds are similiar. does the bird door trim come off the same way?
