first off okfoz, nice seats! Do you remember any quotes that guy gave you (as in basic leather recovering, the embroidery (on the seats)) I'm looking into getting mine redone and was looking for estimates from others before I went to a shop around here. Any information is good information.

To anyone else with redone GTA seats...did any of you go with red leather (or a two tone using red leather) and what pattern did you go with (if you used 2 colors)?

some numbers that come to mind is 700 for each hide. so, if you have multiple colors it will cost significantly more.

I got lucky, since the guy that did my interior had these extra pieces of gray just laying around from another project so there was no extra charge since someone else already paid for the hyde. The pieces were not very long & if you look at my door panels you will notice that there are some seams above & below my plastic trim brackets for the door handles. No one will ever notice because of their stratigic locations. The seats are fine. I also cut a large chunk by going with vynel for the yellow stripes. Since there would not be enough used to justify the purchase of a full hyde.

The Original quote I got was about $500 for each of the seats, $700 for the rear seats, Door panels were $300, & my odds & ends were additional.

Embroidery was charged by the stitch, he got me Breakdown:
$500 Right Driver seat
$500 Left Passenger seat
$700 Back Seats
$150 Right Door panel (complete panel)
$150 left Door panel (complete panel)
$100 for the steering wheel
$100 for the shifterknob & shifter bootie
$100 For the map pocket
$100 for the T-top Bag
$100 for all the embroidery
----------
$2500 Total

I never got my steering wheel or my shifter **** back so I only have $2300 invested, I paid him $1200 up front, and a second payment $1000 when I got everything but the T-top Bag, Steering wheel & Shifter ****.

When I got my T-top Bag I paid him another $100.00

I think he is now out of business, phone is disconnected.

John
