Do your t-tops have seals along the three glass sides?

My wife and I redid the headliner in my IROC this weekend. Before refitting it, I wanted to make sure she was leak proof(the IROC, filthy mind! ) Anyhow, sure enough, the rail along the back edge was letting water roll right in at the edge where the top panel stripping meets the rear body stripping. I tried adjusting the plastic stops, but I think I did more harm then good. Anyhow, I pulled out the ole GM service manual, and it shows seals on the glass edges. Ive never had seals on ANY of my t-top cars, but if they were there, it appears it just may work. The weatherstripping has collapsed where the tops sit, so in spots, the glass actually sits HIGHER than the seals. I am going to shoot some expanding foam in there today and see if that helps at all. If you guys do, or if you know how to PROPERLY adjust the plastic stops(where the top pin sticks in) PLEASE tell me Mike

to properly adjust them, you just loosen the 2 7mm screws. If you fool around with them for a while, you'll see that moving the top and bottom of the plastic piece gives more adjustment options than you may realize.

As for leaks, there's mainly 2 ways it can leak. Between the t-top and the gasket, and between the gasket and the car. t-top to gasket needs to be achieved by adjusting the t-top unless the gasket is just too deformed. Between the gasket and the car can be protected by flipping the gasket away from the car, running a thin bead of silicone down the crack, then putting the gasket back and re-installing the tops for a couple hours. But, on my IROC the new gaskets fit so snugly that none of that was necessary. I didn't even use any adhesive to install my gaskets. Just snapped them into place. I did have a problem with water leaking under the black center bar, but 10 minutes and some silicone fixed that.

Thats exactly what I did, siliconed between my seal & the black bar, does NOT leak no matter how hard it rains. Of course Before I used silicone, I replaced the seals with a kit from Classic Industires. NO LEAKS AT ALL now.
